Live Music this Labour Day Sunday the 6th of October

Come and join us this Labour Day Sunday the 6th of October at Flyfaire Wines Cellar Door for live music by Sweet Water and a scrumptious BBQ on the Deck. It promises to be a terrific idea for passing a relaxing long weekend Sunday in the serenity of Flyfaire.

The BBQ on the deck menu will feature fillet or porterhouse steaks, grain fed chicken breast, salmon fillets or the vegetarian option - Les's special garlic mushrooms. Dessert is also available with cakes, scones, coffee and tea to finish.

BBQ on the Deck is our feature event during the warmer months, so come and join us on our fabulous deck for some good food and great wine, all of which promises to please. Check out our events page for all of the details.

Spring Pruning at Flyfaire

Watch our winemaker get his hands dirty in this 5 minute video on our YouTube channel.  Les, featured here, is preparing the vines for the spring and summer growth spurt where they will produce all their lovely fruit which we can turn into some lovely wine for all of you to enjoy!
Oh, and he also makes a new unusual friend... Check out our YouTube channel today.

Blog @ Flyfaire Wines

Recently, our winemaker Les, went on a trip to Chile to explore and learn about wine-making Chilean style. He came back with lots of  great stories, ideas and had a fabulous time in the process.

One of his new ideas is to potentially plant a Chilean grape variety at Flyfaire - but more on that at a later date.  We recently posted a blog that our winemaker wrote on his visit to one particular vineyard called Antiyal  vineyard in Chile's upper Maipo valley.

Bogan's Guide to Wine

You may have caught the latest review on Flyfaire on our website. If not, check out this very entertaining and informative review of Flyfaire's 2003 Bottle Oaked Riesling.
As the Bogan's Guide to Wine presenters describe it, they go a bit "hippy dippy"!
